After setting up your VectorChat account, you have the option to experience the world of decentralized AI by switching to Bittensor via Corcel (formerly known as BitAPAI). This guide will walk you through the simple steps to enable Bittensor in the VectorChat platform.
Step 1: Sign into VectorChat
Begin by signing into your VectorChat account using your preferred methodβWeb3 wallet, GitHub, or Google account. If you do not have an account yet, see the below page.
Step 2: Accessing the AI Model Selection
Once signed in, locate the robot icon in the top right corner, adjacent to your profile picture / account icon.
Clicking on this icon will reveal a dropdown menu featuring the available AI models: "GPT-4 Turbo," "Bittensor," "Llama 2," and "Gemini."
Step 3: Selecting Bittensor
From the dropdown, select "Bittensor."
Upon selection, a pop-up window will appear, prompting you to enter your Corcel API key.
Step 4: Acquiring a Corcel Key
If you donβt already have a Corcel key, you can obtain one by following the provided link: corcel.io or by clicking the link within the pop-up window.
The Corcel website will guide you through the process of acquiring your API key once you have created an account with them.
Step 5: Entering Your Corcel Key
Once you have your Corcel key, enter it into the designated box in the pop-up window.
Click "Confirm" to finalize the setup.
Step 6: Enjoying Bittensor with Corcel
Congratulations, you are now using Corcel to access decentralized AI on VectorChat!
Remember, you can switch back to GPT-4 Turbo, Gemini, or Llama 2 at any time by clicking the robot icon again.
The switch between models is smooth and retains your context history across all characters, ensuring a seamless experience.
